As a first time parent and new vegan, I’m always looking for new ideas that will help my everyday life. One place to find them is Instagram. Many different Instagrammers have helped me on this journey. Here are 7 of them.
Day 11! The blog-tember topic for today is “Roundup of your favorite Instagrammers! Who should we follow?” Now I’ve only recently got into Instagram but here are 7 Instagrammers that have been helping me recently. I’m not going to be putting any pictures of them on here sorry but feel from to click the links and go check them out.
@BWDBF – This stands for black women to breastfeed. There is this huge part of me that feel like there shouldn’t be a page like this. But when you think about many black women are told black people don’t do that. It’s white people stuff. Within the black community, it’s important to get the message out that it’s ok to breastfeed your child.
@crunchymomsofcolor – This account follows the same principle as the one above. Baby wearing, cloth diapering, and many other things aren’t considered “black.” So someone has made a page to show other black women that it’s ok to do these things no matter what anyone else says.
@thedadlab – This is an excellent page filled with lots of different activities for kids. I can’t wait until my son is older so I can do some of these activities with him.
@littlest_warrior – This page is a clothing line. My son was born with a condition called craniosynostosis. They make shirts for kids with special needs. The shirts that I eventually want to get are the littlest warrior and warrior mama shirts. My son has been through a lot, so he is most definitely my little warrior
@babyfooduniverse – This account is very helpful for anyone trying to figure out what to feed their baby/toddler. They have so many great recipes for kids.
@hashtagvegan – this account showcases post from vegan posts from other accounts. I love looking at all the food they show and hope to try cooking some of it soon.
@little_vegans – This account is helpful since I am a new vegan and also plan on raising my son as a vegan. I was already having a hard time trying to figure out what to feed my son. After I had changed our diet, it became even harder. This account shows different vegan meals that I can give my son.
