My son loves books. For me, that’s exciting because I was a bookworm growing up. Here are three of our favorite children’s books.
Today’s topic is “Three books! One you just read, one you’re currently reading, and one you want to read.” I’m going to do this one a little differently. I’m not currently reading any books. So we’re going to look at my son’s favorite books right now.

My son is 11 months old. He will sit and let me read books to him for about 30min. I like the board books for him because he can turn the pages. There is also another book that’s not a board book that I love because of its topic. So here are the books.
We originally got this book because my son has a blanket that he sleeps with and we wanted it to be his lovey. That didn’t happen, but this book has become his favorite book. It’s short enough for him to sit through. It also uses great imagination.
Colors an Alphaprints book
This book is also pretty short. It showcases different colors on each page. Each color page has animals and a background that consists of everyday objects. That’s perfect for when he gets older. The pages are also textured. There are fingerprints on each page, and you can feel the ridges. This book is great for so much more than colors.
The Wonderful Things You Will Be by Emily WingField Matin
This book is better for older kids. It’s not a board book, so my son has trouble turning the pages. It can also be a bit wordy, but I love the topic of this book. It talks about different characteristics, not just jobs. Being kind, creative, bold and brave are just a few examples. It also has beautiful pictures.
These are the three books that my son and I love to read. What are your favorite books?
